You probably know why but we will point out the obvious.
1) Inventory shortages – This continues to be a problem for anyone in the promotional products business as we all use the same suppliers. We are just now hearing from some suppliers that their shipments are arriving, but it has been very slow. We expect the inventory received to go quickly.
2) Staff shortages – While some suppliers have resumed normal production times of 5 days -10 days, with a very limited few offering rush service, many are still very short staffed. The short staffed ones are averaging 15-20 days production. These times do not include shipping times.
3) Chinese New Year – China factories will still close down for the 2022 Chinese New Year which begins February 1 and lasts for 15 days.

Even though many suppliers are still waiting on inventory orders to arrive, you can (and should) order now to reserve your inventory for when the shipments come in.
Some types of items we anticipate heavier demand for early in 2022:
· Awards – Because it is always a busy time of year for those.
· Welcome back to work gifts. Could be desk items or other tote bags and work accessories.
· Winter apparel, because it is winter. )
· Most of the top categories of items: pens, bags, drinkware of all kinds, health care products and apparel.
