Though I usually try to stay from any kind of topic that may be controversial, I do feel it is imperative to promote getting back to business as close to what used to be normal as possible. I do also promote getting vaccinated, wearing a mask when needed and washing your hands often.
Please note that Promo Hounds has seen a significant increase in requests for swag in the past few weeks, so while some are moving ahead, others are getting left behind. Pure speculation but I attribute this to people getting vaccines, just being ready to get going again, and refusing to live in fear any longer.
Here are some things we are seeing clients request promo items for:
· Introduce new products, services and business procedures.
· Planning in-person events for which they will need swag.
· Welcoming employees back to the office.
· Celebrating having survived the pandemic.
· Just to let their clients know they are still there and have survived.
· Online contests
· Direct mail packages
· Apparel for their employees which are especially useful for online meetings to give some identity.
· To promote getting out safely.
· To re-stock in general since it has been over a year since they ordered swag.
We should also point out that there are definite supply problems presently.
· Suppliers reduced their inventory since business was down.
· Suppliers reduced their number of employees so customer service is suffering now.
· Suppliers cannot get product in from overseas because there are no shipping containers. No containers were going back overseas during the pandemic so now there is a shortage overseas.
So it might take a little more creativity to get the right product for your need but we have managed to do that for 99% of our clients so far.
