Which Hoodie Is Right For You?

Okay if you don't like wearing hoodies IDK if we can be friends.  We can still be business associates though.  

As we get into hoodie weather now I thought maybe a hoodie primer would help if and when you would like to order some.

There are many retail name brand hoodies available.  Just a few to mention:

In the broadest context there are two kinds of hoodies.  There are the pullovers:

And there are the full zip hoodies:

In general there are three categories of hoodies, whether pullover or full-zip, based on the weight of the fabric.  There is light-, medium- and heavy weight.

Many of the brands have the 3 different weights but for the purposes here I will use Gildan.  There are both pullover and full-zip styles available in all weights.

Gildan Adult Softstyle® Fleece Pullover Hooded Sweatshirt - 8.4 oz. weight.  Very comfortable for wearing indoors but not going to keep you warm outside when it is very cold.

Gildan Hammer Maxweight Hooded Sweatshirt - 10.5 oz.  We sell more mid-weights in our area than other weights.

Gildan - Heavy Blend Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt. - 13.3 oz.  These will keep you warm!

There are performance material type hoodies:

Gildan - DryBlend Pullover Hooded Sweatshirt. - 9 oz blend 50/50 Cotton/Polyester.

Many of the hoodie styles com in safety colors.  Some even meet particular safety regulations.

There are the soft stylish hoodies like this Bella Canvas.

Bella + Canvas® Unisex Sponge Fleece Hooded Full Zip Sweatshirt - 8.4 oz but that can be misleading because of the different type of material this one is.

The garment-washed styles are fairly popular as well!
